Located in the heart of Copenhagen, City Hub combines modern hospitality with intuitive technology and carefully designed architectural lighting. The project demonstrates how advanced wireless control and intelligent DALI solutions can create dynamic, comfortable, and energy-efficient lighting experiences throughout a contemporary hospitality environment.
Dynamic RGBW Lighting at the Entrance
The entrance area serves as the visual focal point of the project. To create a welcoming and memorable first impression, custom-shaped RGBW LED strip installations were integrated into specially fabricated aluminum profiles.
The lighting system is powered by LTECH Bluetooth Mesh technology using the B5 and EB5 control panels in combination with D5B decoders. Each lighting element was assigned to its own dedicated zone, allowing individual control of colors, brightness, and scenes directly from the B5 remote interface. LTECH Bluetooth Mesh provides stable wireless communication between all devices, ensuring reliable operation without additional control wiring. LTECH's Bluetooth Mesh ecosystem is designed for intelligent LED lighting control and large-scale lighting networks. The result is a vibrant entrance feature that can easily adapt to different moods, events, and times of day while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.
Tunable White Lighting for Hallways and Staircases
Throughout the staircases and circulation areas, sleek linear pendant luminaires provide comfortable and uniform illumination. The fixtures are equipped with LTECH LM-150-24-G2D2F NFC-programmable DALI-2 DT8 tunable white LED drivers, enabling precise adjustment of both light intensity and color temperature.
By utilizing tunable white technology, the lighting can shift between warmer and cooler color temperatures, supporting both visual comfort and the desired atmosphere throughout the building.
Fast Commissioning with NFC Programming
A key advantage of the installation was the use of LTECH NFC technology. Instead of configuring each DALI driver manually through traditional methods, installers were able to program settings directly from their smartphones.
This significantly reduced commissioning time while ensuring accurate configuration of dimming curves, output settings, and tunable white parameters. LTECH's NFC-enabled driver platform is specifically designed to simplify installation and commissioning processes for professional lighting projects.
Seamless Integration of Wireless and DALI Control
City Hub Copenhagen showcases the flexibility of combining Bluetooth Mesh-controlled RGBW feature lighting with DALI-controlled tunable white luminaires. The entrance delivers dynamic visual impact through color-changing scenes, while the interior circulation spaces benefit from comfortable and adaptable white light.
The project highlights how LTECH's lighting ecosystem can provide both creative freedom and practical functionality, delivering reliable performance, easy commissioning, and intuitive control across multiple lighting applications.
