Located in the heart of Copenhagen, City Hub combines modern hospitality with intuitive technology and carefully designed architectural lighting. The project demonstrates how advanced wireless control and intelligent DALI solutions can create dynamic, comfortable, and energy-efficient lighting experiences throughout a contemporary hospitality environment.

The project combines Bluetooth Mesh lighting, DALI lighting control and NFC commissioning to deliver a flexible architectural lighting solution for modern hospitality spaces. By integrating dynamic RGBW feature lighting with tunable white illumination, City Hub Copenhagen demonstrates how intelligent lighting can improve both guest experience and day-to-day building operation.

Dynamic RGBW Lighting at the Entrance

The entrance area serves as the visual focal point of the project. To create a welcoming and memorable first impression, custom-shaped RGBW LED strip installations were integrated into specially fabricated aluminum profiles.

The lighting system is powered by LTECH Bluetooth Mesh technology using the B5 and EB5 control panels in combination with B5-3A controller. Each entrance lighting zone can be controlled independently, allowing operators to adjust colours, brightness and scenes without additional control wiring. This flexibility makes Bluetooth Mesh lighting ideal for hospitality environments where lighting needs change throughout the day.

LTECH Bluetooth Mesh provides stable wireless communication between all devices, creating a reliable and scalable lighting control network. The result is a vibrant entrance feature that can easily adapt to different moods, events and times of day while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.

Tunable White Lighting for Hallways and Staircases

Throughout the staircases and circulation areas, sleek linear pendant luminaires provide comfortable and uniform illumination. The fixtures are equipped with LTECH LM-150-24-G2D2F NFC-programmable DALI-2 DT8 tunable white LED drivers, enabling precise adjustment of both light intensity and color temperature.

Tunable white lighting allows colour temperature to be adjusted to suit different times of day, creating comfortable circulation spaces while improving visual comfort for guests.

Fast Commissioning with NFC Programming

A key advantage of the installation was the use of LTECH NFC technology. Instead of configuring each DALI driver manually through traditional methods, installers were able to program settings directly from their smartphones.

This significantly reduced commissioning time while ensuring accurate configuration of dimming curves, output settings and tunable white parameters. LTECH's NFC-enabled driver platform allows LED drivers to be configured before power is applied, ensuring consistent settings across multiple luminaires while simplifying installation for professional lighting projects.

Combining Bluetooth Mesh and DALI Lighting Control

City Hub Copenhagen demonstrates how smart architectural lighting can combine creativity with practical functionality. By integrating Bluetooth Mesh lighting, DALI control and NFC commissioning into one cohesive system, the project delivers dynamic feature lighting, comfortable tunable white illumination and simplified installation. The result is a flexible hospitality lighting solution that enhances both the guest experience and long-term building operation.
